About the Workshop: Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence – the ability to perceive, control and evaluate emotions.

We all have emotions but sometimes these can be hard to understand and control.  In a perfect world we would all have the ability manage these successfully and adapt our behaviours to build strong, positive interactions with others, that also sees us promote positive self-talk!!!

Psychologists refer to this ability as Emotional Intelligence, and some experts even suggest that it can be more important than IQ in your overall success in life. Emotional Intelligence has been rated as one of the top 10 factors for successful business outcomes in 2020, as Artificial Intelligence cannot replace the human trait of empathy.  Emotional Intelligence can be learned and strengthened over time, but this up to each individual.  It’s easy to begin as all you need is…… you!

Within this session you will learn about who you be!  (what does this mean….?  We didn’t make a grammatical error… this is your essence… and we will talk more about this in the workshop.)

  • Who you be – we are all wonderful, but sometimes if we do not look inside how do we change reactive behaviours on the outside
  • Who they be – we cannot control how others react but if we understand the why? We have the choice how to respond
